What is a Home Information Pack (HIP) and do I need one?

Since 14th December 2007 every property new to the property market must have a Home Information Pack.

The Pack consists of a sale statement, local searches, land registry title, a copy of a lease (where appropriate) and an Energy Performance Certificate.

If you already have a HIP you do not need to purchase another one if you advertise through wightfrog.com. Some properties are exempt from a HIP. You can check this by going to www.homeinformationpacks.gov.uk.
